Archive RSS DAY 4344 Jalsa, Mumbai Jan 28/29, 2020 Tue/Wed 12:02 am Birthday - Ef Brijmohan Saraswat, ABEF ( dob 29.1.1992)Wednesday 29th January .. greetings an happiness ever .. अब मत कहना की याद नहीं रहा !! 29th be the day of Basanat Panchami .. the day of the beginning of spring, the day of prayer to the Goddess Saraswati - the divinity that defines learning, culture , wisdom, arts .. children newly born are made to write their first time on the day of Basant Panchami .. the colour of the divinity be yellow on the day .. Auspicious .. … how does one reflect on such day with Ef ,, how does one reflect at all .. there shall be the devout that shall be in the presence of prayer and ‘pooja’ .. the books of accounts and the ledgers of the office shall be put in Her divinity .. Her blessings to be sought for the progress and deliverance for the year to begin .. Saraswati .. that sits on the lotus and the symbolic swan be its ‘vaahan’ .. the lotus flower considered in its purity and its ability to flower despite its environ being the dirt and mud that it exists in .. culture and history and time valued it at destinations in India and Egypt, who realised its special qualities .. .. just the other day a friend gave me the imagery of Saraswati .. and I place it about me .. the learning of its presence may transfer some of its assets to them that give it prayer .. .. one the guardian angel by the side of the goddess of learning .. in protection of the learning .. or vice versa .. the learning to be protected .. .. and it be true .. in the times of today there is a desire to acquire more learning than perhaps earlier .. for me at least .. it be so .. .. earlier the learning was more for the cause of that examination that would decide the course of action to be taken in the days of the life .. now , different .. its easy accessibility , of immediate response , of getting the background and the meaning all at once at the press of a button - at least for now ; it could change though to a thought of a think in the cerebrum and its there - in its simple information decree .. .. ease of accessibility then be the reason of many such endeavours .. blessed be the G or Mr. who sit in enlightened company in the valleys of silicon and design the future and execute it .. .. it is not enough to think .. it is to think and then make it appear .. that is the world today and shall be for many todays to come .. .. what it shall eventually be , shall be the discovery of the system that runs us all .. and some rather exciting ranges of thought shall appear .. to further bring complication on this already complicated existence .. .. we shroud ourselves in our weaknesses .. when we do not have answer we cower behind the closed doors of our divine ; for we believe they know .. they guide they control .. .. but do they really and will they continue to do so .. or shall the atheist or theist or agnostic prove themselves .. .. all in good time .. and ours is that time .. for we shall not be there when all the other stuff happens .. stuff that began with thought process, into materialistic presence and then all of a sudden it vanished and took away with it , all the belief that mankind / womankind had processed with, humanity all along .. .. strange but true .. .. our places of worship are our weakness .. we take shelter in them when it rains and thunders obstacles of which humanity has no answers .. .. and the agnostic, the courage of the written word in the mind of Babuji , fearless in its expression but so apt in the times always .. .. in the quatrain of a verse in Madhushala he wrote : pandit , momin , paadariyon ke phandon ko jo kaat chuka ; kar sakti hai aaj ussi ka swagat meri Madhushala पंडित , मोमिन , पादरियों के फंदों को जो काट चुका ; कर सकती आज उसी का स्वागत मेरी मधुशाला । my Madhushala welcomes they that have broken away from the knotted strings or ropes, the traps or the nooses , of the temple pandit priest, the Momin of the mosque or the priest of the Church .. a progressive refrain in a 27 year old in the year 1935 .. this is not just coincidence .. it is the valued evidence of superiority .. a creative superiority .. .. and it should , will and must be my refrain and resolve to keep his legacy alive .. Amitabh Bachchan 9 hours ago 67 Comments Permalink Share Tweet DAY 4343 Jalsa, Mumbai Jan 27, 2020 Mon 11:53 PM The strains they pull you apart .. inescapable , rampant in the system of the breathe .. imagining the ambiance, as the notes play of depicting that chapter in the history of a life of them that governed ours .. they are divine and with divinity now .. but they were with us ever .. and in the letters and words that have been left behind we find them in that little memory , alive and in the close proximity of the soul .. .. that darkened space in the blackness .. blackness ever depicting grief and the unknown .. feel and tugging the inners as ever before in support of the constant regulator which works for us for survival .. the strings of the heart , the gentle rumble inside to confirm its presence and the justification of our living .. This is the guidance of the vision that gave and came to us soon after the foetus emerged an addition to us all .. in the joy of its first whelp .. in the grief of its last silent breathe .. in the immense giving of its power of wisdom and learning .. it laments now that recollects those idle moments , utilised not in the explanations of the extraordinary cerebrum .. mine yes in relation, yours not but yours too in its universal presence .. the ideologies , the thesis of many , the unintended belief of the truth .. untold , unafraid and in its stark honesty .. It is remarkable how it would have been done .. but the opening page of confession with the compare of another, became the yardstick for posterity .. and for us the yardstick for the next generation .. They are the newbies .. the ones that mix their lives with all around and suddenly find themselves in realms that do not match expectation .. nothing unusual .. they will .. in time .. .. and when they do there shall be the altered changes in the cultural civilisation of mankind .. .. may they develop speed and haste .. may they be of presence where presence is unknown .. may they disclose , may they unearth , may they be what they ought to be .. for that is what shall prevail .. Monday, January 27 … greetings on your birthday and the affection of all the Ef .. The Sunday like ever before .. gratitude and love .. affection and togetherness .. a connect that binds us all .. on the rafters .. at the gates of Jalsa .. little affectionate gifts and .. paperweights of marble and the poster becomes a coaster .. !! .. ever and ever the grace of gratitude .. .. of the making of those belongings that bind us .. .. and this a visit later to the work place of Deepak Sawant my make up man for the last 47 years .. dedicated and committed .. through his hard earnings and work produced Marathi and Bhojpuri successful films .. started a small one room parlour for his wife, where she worked alone and today it completed 40 years .. has blossomed into a 3 storied building .. daughters trained in UK and abroad .. .. and in all this and in the 47 years , NEVER MISSED A SINGLE WORK DAY WITH ME FOR MY MAKE UP .. NOT A SINGLE DAY IN 47 YEARS .. .. AND YES WHEN YOU VISIT THE SUBURB ,DAHISAR there shall be a traffic situation .. many celebrities do not visit this part of the city .. a joy for me to meet all the employees that his wife works with, now 40 of them .. humble filled with their charm of my visit to their parlour .. and all dressed up for the occasion .. we go to openings of large stores and present ourselves at weddings and events .. but I need to honour them that have made humble beginnings and now flourish .. ..
